Exe files/malicious code in PDF - ddstr0 - Oct 11, 2021 Hi guys, is it possible to execute malicious code/exe files by opening a PDF? If so, could someone please explain to me how can I do it? (I'm asking only for personal purposes, just to dabble). Here's a guide on that: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/9640141/how-can-i-put-javascript-code-into-a-pdf-document If you can manage to find a way to execute stuff (or deadass just do anything malicious with Javascript lol) your PDF file is all you need. Cheers! RE: Exe files/malicious code in PDF - Noodlez_ - Oct 13, 2021 You can execute VBA to execute PowerShell. PowerShell has a built in detection but there is ways to get around it. Have fun researching. RE: Exe files/malicious code in PDF - ddstr0 - Oct 15, 2021 (Oct 12, 2021 12:03 AM)linkinpork Wrote: You can put Javascript code into PDF files.
