Do you have a passport - hayesh - May 16, 2023 I read somewhere that only 37% of Americans have passports. Where I live almost everyone has a passport. Does that mean that most americans never leave the country RE: Do you have a passport - Grim - May 16, 2023 i do dam really? thats surprising actually. RE: Do you have a passport - Pootje - May 17, 2023 I do have a passport RE: Do you have a passport - Rionxee - May 17, 2023 Yea, I needed a passport when I was younger so my parents always renewed it for me. We got our renewed together for a family trip a few years ago so I'm good for awhile. I also ended up getting Global Entry. Fyi, get CLEAR and TSApre.... makes an airport security experience so much faster and you'll never have a chance at getting the dreaded SSSS designator while flying. RE: Do you have a passport - Stoke - May 17, 2023 Not from the USA, but I do have one. Then again, if Americans wanted to go on a break somewhere, they could go to New York or Miami. If I wanted to go somewhere with no passport, I’ve got Luton and Grimsby as choices. RE: Do you have a passport - DashPHP - May 17, 2023 Yep I got a passport... If not a passport, then what? O.o RE: Do you have a passport - Ducky - May 17, 2023 I've seen plenty of Americans who never once in their life leave the country. You have a totally new language and culture sometimes even at a 1-hour flight distance. I've visited at least 7 countries within the EU and I also have a passport (haven't used it yet) But if your country is a member of the EU you can use your national ID to travel without the need for a passport. RE: Do you have a passport - Jackets - May 17, 2023 Being Canadian, I do have a passport so I can visit the states and get things cheaper :) RE: Do you have a passport - 2020Sucked - May 17, 2023 Absolutely! I think having a passport is very important. RE: Do you have a passport - Truth - May 17, 2023 gotta have a few passports to play ball these days RE: Do you have a passport - Yanix - May 18, 2023 We do have our passports, the whole family for anytime we want to travel we can easily go. RE: Do you have a passport - CrimsonLanternfly - May 18, 2023 The United States is enormous, so most people don't need to get a passport to see new things. I have mine, but that's due to personal projects that sometimes take me to interesting locations. The spouse and children don't have theirs, and most people I personally know don't have theirs. just near where I live, it takes 8 hours to drive 75 MPH (120 KP/H) across just one state...you could cross an interesting portion of Europe in that time and see 4 countries! |
