I read somewhere that only 37% of Americans have passports. Where I live almost everyone has a passport. Does that mean that most americans never leave the country

I have a passport, but I haven't left my country in 20 years.
Yea, I needed a passport when I was younger so my parents always renewed it for me. We got our renewed together for a family trip a few years ago so I'm good for awhile. I also ended up getting Global Entry.
Fyi, get CLEAR and TSApre.... makes an airport security experience so much faster and you'll never have a chance at getting the dreaded SSSS designator while flying.

You have a totally new language and culture sometimes even at a 1-hour flight distance. I've visited at least 7 countries within the EU and I also have a passport (haven't used it yet) But if your country is a member of the EU you can use your national ID to travel without the need for a passport.
gotta have a few passports to play ball these days
I buy Amazon Gift Cards & Crypto for CashApp. PM me if you're selling
The United States is enormous, so most people don't need to get a passport to see new things. I have mine, but that's due to personal projects that sometimes take me to interesting locations. The spouse and children don't have theirs, and most people I personally know don't have theirs. just near where I live, it takes 8 hours to drive 75 MPH (120 KP/H) across just one state...you could cross an interesting portion of Europe in that time and see 4 countries!
