What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - jcole - Oct 3, 2024 Some people like to keep their days short while others don't always have the luxury of doing that. The longest shift I've ever worked has been twenty five hours straight non-stop with no lunch. I just snacked throughout the shift. I almost ran off the road in the work truck heading back to the house a few times. What's the longest you have worked in one shift? RE: What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - Charlie Sheen - Oct 3, 2024 I worked 21 hours. Got in at 8am, left at 5am. Back at 8am. RE: What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - Epic - Oct 3, 2024 Probably like 9 or 10 hours, not really anything that crazy. The company I work for wouldn't allow me to come back to work that day. I just had to take the day off, and come back the next work day. SAFETY over everything 🙄 RE: What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - Charlie Sheen - Oct 3, 2024 (Oct 3, 2024 04:50 PM)jcole Wrote: The company I work for wouldn't allow me to come back to work that day. He said "Good, it builds character." He tried to get me some coverage but didn't have anyone he could send. RE: What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - DemoTester - Oct 3, 2024 19 hours. Got an emergency call at 10:30pm and had to go into work. we got everything fixed, up and running and it was 6pm. went home and crashed. went in the next morning and the owner sent me home gave me the day off paid. Even though i was always on-call for emergencies, it still meant a lot that he did that. I would have to get up at 5am, get ready for work, go to work, get off at 10pm, drive to my moms to pick up my kids which was an hour drive, then drive an hour home, get home around 12am, lay them down, then try to get some sleep. Every single day. RE: What's the longest consecutive shift you've worked? - jcole - Oct 3, 2024 (Oct 3, 2024 05:05 PM)Charlie Sheen Wrote: Yeah it was a terrible time in my life. I can work from home on days I decide to and that's great. Family was sick this week so I was able to stay here and make sure they were okay.
