How many hours of sleep do you get per night? - Snowwy - Oct 16, 2024
I try and get around seven hours of sleep per night. Sometimes it obviously varies, but I feel like seven hours is pretty good for me. Sometimes I get more, maybe nine or so if I'm lucky.
What about you guys?

I have been a late owl all my life. I usually get between like 2/3 - 4/5 hours a night.

I have to get at least 7 ideally otherwise a feel like crap throughout the day. Preferably around 8 hours for peak function.

I'm usually in bed around 10PM, usually read for bit, or listen to a chill podcast. Try to be lights out around 10:30 or so. Weekends I will stay up a little later since I can sleep in.

It depends, unfortunately sometimes I have insomnias, it's usually between 4 and 9 hours.
When I sleep 7 hours I'm good for the day, 9 hours is exceptional, happens maybe once or twice a month when I'm really tired (after few insomnias for example)

It depends, I had twice during the past two days, hope I'll sleep well tonight. Before that I didn't have insomnia for 2 weeks (woohooo)
When it happens I usually sleep up to 4 / 5 hours, sometimes I wake up during the night but I'm able to go back to sleep easily, however when insomnias happen I immediately know that I can't go back to sleep again. So I leave the bed (at around 4-5 AM), go to the computer for few hours, I eat my breakfast, then I start feeling tired after maybe 4-5 hours (so between 9 and 11AM), then I go back to sleep for 1 or 2 hours if I can sleep (sometimes I can't sleep and it's really annoying).
It's a bad habit but when I struggle to sleep even after an insomnia I usually drink beers or wine (thanks I'm living in France wine is cheap haha)

I aim for 7 hours too. +/- 1 hour I'd say.

That’s pretty crazy that it comes and goes. I’m sure the French wine would definitely help in getting you tired.

I wish I could sleep 5 hours and still be functional. I could get so much done, lol.

No , but if I sleep I often miss rare gunpla drops . Happened to me too many times !
