use edx or coursera to get certificate

No, you have to do the course at coursera. But it's free iirc. The certificate itself might cost a fee, like $30 or so. And you can google the questions.#
Also the course is rather low quality imo. The certificate is essentially worthless.

Very prevalent in the corporate IT market right now.
Even low level certifications can be required to be considered for opportunities like internships or jobs. Many enterprises will require you to undergo vendor product training and certification before being issued credentials into those systems.
What about getting a degree or a license? Like taking a state board exam in your name?
