My dad goes pretty often to the casino like around 2x a week. Is this considered a addiction?

i know guys they go 1X a week
but they did later every day
until they lost all family all things
Say no to casinos
Casino its like coc its all for bosses
Your father need one job lossing time there and making $$ taking care of your family

Pretty easy if you know the signs of problematic gambling.
It could start from a simple habit of enjoying gambling visit to the casino etc, when this happens it becomes a chase instead of a thrill/fun experience that's when I would say you have a problem.
The house always wins however your only one more spin away from that jackpot!

From what he tells me yes but he always complains about not having money for other things so idk.

You need to check his finances, you can go daily to the casino but play like 10$ max, or you can go 1-2 times per week but blow 5k each time.
