Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - informalmarc - Aug 27, 2025 I myself Love live music that was professionally recorded for example Eric church live https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLb6-cvX7go^ RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Blazin - Aug 27, 2025 Depends on my mood, but most times studio recorded. Once and blue moon I'll watch like a acoustic or live. RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Rsynced - Aug 27, 2025 Depends on the audio engineering staff, I once went to a small venue that sounded horrible and was like to the guy who was doing the amps and sound set, you should turn the mids and highs down on that Amp to get rid of the clipping and distortion. He was like I don't know what the fuck your even talking about... lol RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Phantom_NiNja - Aug 27, 2025 (Aug 27, 2025 07:22 PM)Rsynced Wrote: Depends on the audio engineering staff, I once went to a small venue that sounded horrible and was like to the guy who was doing the amps and sound set, you should turn the mids and highs down on that Amp to get rid of the clipping and distortion. I think live music is a vibe. I seen video of concerts and love to listen to music that you can see the crowd dance to it or like sing along... if the crowed is really into it. some of slipknots music when sung live is insane the way people just go crazy.. custer is pretty good: RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Rsynced - Aug 27, 2025 (Aug 27, 2025 10:02 PM)Phantom_NiNja Wrote: Dang that sucks for them... lol For me it depends like you have said it boils down to the sound quality. I mean this is a really bad recording and it still sound s great! I think ed Sheeran has better live music then audio kinda like tool RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Rsynced - Sep 3, 2025 (Sep 3, 2025 07:25 PM)informalmarc Wrote: I think ed Sheeran has better live music then audio kinda like tool How does this compare to tool? lmao 🙄 RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - informalmarc - Sep 4, 2025 (Sep 3, 2025 09:16 PM)Rsynced Wrote: Oh its just a dif taste Im a bit strange when it comes to my music RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Rsynced - Sep 4, 2025 (Sep 4, 2025 03:15 AM)informalmarc Wrote: Oh its just a dif taste Im a bit strange when it comes to my music Oh it's good stuff, I listened to it. I like everything and can be a critic also. It just kind of shocked me when I thought it was going to be like tool / rock when I played it. lol Think about it, tool is 100% live music, they play all the instruments drums and sing, they mainly use FX/Delay Reverb/ Guitar Amps etc, but they 100% playing everything, This guy sounds more ready to go post production like a dj / electronic performer, The band 'Tool' is impossible to replicate, very talented musicians for sure. Anyone who plays guitar and/or drums would tell you they're one of the best bands in the world, 'Tool' is Legend! RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - rents64 - Sep 7, 2025 Personally, I don't mind, as some convey more emotion in live than they do in the studio. PS: I thought it was a rick roll. 😆 RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Rsynced - Sep 7, 2025 (Sep 7, 2025 05:13 AM)rents64 Wrote: PS: I thought it was a rick roll. 😆 RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - H3ct0rr - Sep 13, 2025 (Aug 27, 2025 04:12 PM)informalmarc Wrote: I myself Love live music that was professionally recorded for example Depends on the environment where I am listening to the music so like when im in my car studio recorded music sounds better but at home live music for the win RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - webdev77 - Sep 13, 2025 I'd rather hear studio recordings unless it's in person live. Live music is never going to sound as good as something with unlimited attempts to get it exactly how someone wants it to sound. RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - Tyr - Sep 14, 2025 unplugged if its rock, yeah RE: Do you guys prefer Live or studio recorded music to listen to? - FONZIE - Sep 16, 2025 I think I prefer studio recordings. It also depends on how noisy the audience is. If the crowd is silent I may be able to endure live. |
