Depends on my mood, but most times studio recorded. Once and blue moon I'll watch like a acoustic or live.

SneakyBoots Discord or HF convo me.
Depends on the audio engineering staff, I once went to a small venue that sounded horrible and was like to the guy who was doing the amps and sound set, you should turn the mids and highs down on that Amp to get rid of the clipping and distortion. He was like I don't know what the fuck your even talking about... lol

Dang that sucks for them... lol For me it depends like you have said it boils down to the sound quality. I think live music is a vibe.

I seen video of concerts and love to listen to music that you can see the crowd dance to it or like sing along... if the crowed is really into it.

some of slipknots music when sung live is insane the way people just go crazy..

custer is pretty good:

Yes some sound engineers are amazing, take tool for example, their live shows sound better than their studio recordings. I mean this is a really bad recording and it still sound s great!

Oh it's good stuff, I listened to it. I like everything and can be a critic also. It just kind of shocked me when I thought it was going to be like tool / rock when I played it. lol

Think about it, tool is 100% live music, they play all the instruments drums and sing, they mainly use FX/Delay Reverb/ Guitar Amps etc, but they 100% playing everything, This guy sounds more ready to go post production like a dj / electronic performer, The band 'Tool' is impossible to replicate, very talented musicians for sure. Anyone who plays guitar and/or drums would tell you they're one of the best bands in the world, 'Tool' is Legend!

Personally, I don't mind, as some convey more emotion in live than they do in the studio.

PS: I thought it was a rick roll. 😆

Depends on the environment where I am listening to the music so like when im in my car studio recorded music sounds better but at home live music for the win
I'd rather hear studio recordings unless it's in person live. Live music is never going to sound as good as something with unlimited attempts to get it exactly how someone wants it to sound.
unplugged if its rock, yeah
I think I prefer studio recordings. It also depends on how noisy the audience is. If the crowd is silent I may be able to endure live.
