How to remove malware on infected PC - Harry - Sep 20, 2025 It seems I've come across quite a few malware infected RATs that's I've run on my PC , sometimes I feel like there are a lot of those background processes and services running on my PC . I see it on task manager all the time . Wondering if there's actually a way to tackle this & be safe & clear of such infected junks or code on one's PC . Can anybody help ? Much appreciated π RE: How to remove malware on infected PC - DeathPenalty666 - Sep 20, 2025 best method are to get a good paid antivirus or format and work with those on VM in the futur RE: How to remove malware on infected PC - DramaKing - Sep 21, 2025 At this point, you should probably do a backup and full wipe. Much appreciated π First and easier step: Install ESET (paid, but cheap) or turn on and update WINDOWS DEFENDER (only if u using windows 10++), enable Memory Integrity (24h2 of windows) because this feature will fuck most runpe from shit crypters, update windows defender, remove all exclusions from windows defender, this is the best free option. Second: you must remove shit from startup, (AutoRuns) from sysinternals is a very good choice to you can see what is running with ur windows. Third: Stop not trusted services (not from microsoft). if malware still there lmk RE: How to remove malware on infected PC - ts1000 - Nov 12, 2025 If you want to be 100% sure, reinstall system. Much appreciated π If youβve run malware or RATs, your system is likely compromised. Disconnect from the internet immediately, back up only essential personal files (not programs), and then perform a full Windows reset or clean reinstall. Afterward, install a trusted antivirus like Microsoft Defender or Malwarebytes, update everything, and avoid running unknown files again. This is basics.
