Low effort threads = high effort responses? - Lowkey - Oct 13, 2025 Does anyone else feel like the bare minimum is being rewarded these days with higher and higher quality? And not just in terms of online forums either, I feel like life in general is becoming this way as well. Thoughts? RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - Aeowulf - Oct 13, 2025 Yes. Responding to this is taking a lot of effort, and I don't like it. Its an unfortunate part of the internet now. No way to avoid it anymore. This is exactly what I'm talking about right here. I’ve made several long and detailed guide/tutorial threads, but they get very few replies compared to the number of views. People don’t even bother responding anymore — they’re leeches. The spirit and culture of sharing in hacking is slowly dying in a world where everyone is becoming more and more individualistic. RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - Oh_Well - Oct 14, 2025 I think the world has become extremely fast-paced so you need to make the lower possible effort to do something so you can quickly move to the next one. So I'm not sure if "Low effort threads = high effort responses" stands RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - PhillyStyle - Oct 14, 2025 Shoot. Facebook suggests replies for you so that you don't even have to even attempt to think anymore. Where is that feature here? 🤭 RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - mrclay - Oct 14, 2025 (Oct 14, 2025 03:02 AM)PhillyStyle Wrote: Shoot. Soon we will just blink twice on Hf and it’s would suggest perfect replies. High effort threads = no responses RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - Jamika - Oct 14, 2025 (Oct 13, 2025 04:12 PM)Lowkey Wrote: Does anyone else feel like the bare minimum is being rewarded these days with higher and higher quality? Yeah sure And social media is full of garbage that earn money from nothing literally RE: Low effort threads = high effort responses? - Headspace - Oct 14, 2025 I agree with you, but the more important question is how do we fix it? Aside from message boards, should we end participation trophies and rewarding mediocrity? Methinks this is a cultural/generational issue rather than some localized problem. |
