Cerebus RAT question - fighter_15 - Sep 26, 2010 I created a server and ran the test on sandbox and it worked. However I tried opening the server on several other computers and everything went fine except no servers ever show up on cerebus. It still says 0 servers online. What could I be doing wrong? * - Sage Mode - Sep 26, 2010 Please answer the following: 1. Do you have a Static or Dynamic IP? 2. Did you portforward correctly? 3. Do the other computers have an Anti-Virus or Firewall enabled? * - kylehaswings - Sep 26, 2010 Have you tried crypting the file? If so you might have corrupted your file. * - hemescool - Sep 26, 2010 just crypt ur server and spread:) * - Zpirit - Sep 26, 2010 Probally nit crypted, run the server (be sure to make the settings to not install) and tureoff AV , should work then. ;) * - 1337nub - Sep 26, 2010 same problem :( too short * - fighter_15 - Sep 26, 2010 No static or dynamic IP, I'm not sure if I port forwarded correctly, what is the correct way to do it? The other computers don't have an AV or firewall. * - Xycon - Sep 26, 2010 there is no correct way, it dpeends on what router/modem you have you can check if your ports are open on http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and http://portforward.com/help/portcheck.htm use both of them for more accuracy as they are sometimes wrong * - fighter_15 - Sep 26, 2010 It says that the port I'm trying to use is blocked or in use. What should I do from here? * - dugidox - Sep 26, 2010 Then you must open that port in your router... Go here http://portforward.com/, choose your router type and begin or just say here router type i'll make screen tut for you * - Wise - Sep 26, 2010 Make sure you point the DNS to your IP if it is not one of your computers, if it is point it to the ip address in your router for your computer. |
