The last theme of HF used this mosaic background I created. I loved how it looked. Just did a screenshot of how it would look now. I still prefer what the new theme looks like but I do miss mosaic.

This is more testing of email subscription services.

This is a test of something related to email.

So this morning got up, had my coffee, got to work. After dealing with contacts (email, convo, pms) I looked around the forum made some posts. Eventually after about 2 hours I took a look at the Roadmap seeing what I can fit in with the short time I have today (2-3 hours).

This is where it gets fun.

I see in the Roadmap to build a page on Hackforums.com for SEO. Should be easy enough, likely use AI to do the heavy work. To do this I have to host the page. Decided to use one of my many VPS's I have. Took me a few to check the configuration, login, and whatnot. I see the panel on this server very old, could use a replacement. Server has just one basic job and I can probably remove it but meh. I'll use it. Looked at a couple panels quick. Then I noticed one of the 3 domains on this VPS didn't work. Go check configs, view DNS....hmm...odd. Then I see that I have a database on this server using a webhook from the mail service I use, it logs all the errors. I see it's a fairly large database now. I run some checks on it and see stuff I don't like. Now I have to go check HF code see what's up. What's suppose to happen is the VPS logs errors, then tells HF about it, then on HF I remove that members subscription to either the thread or the forum subscription. This way someone shouldn't continue to get email sent wasting my resources with bounced un-deliverable emails. Except it doesn't appear to be working as I see from the logs some members have as many as 2000+ errors. Now I have to deal with this. I do about an hour of checking all the code, everything looks fine. I do have some debugging options in the code which I enabled but I have to wait for bounces to see results. Now my 2-3 hours is about up. I quickly go setup the DNS for HackForums.com, will take time to propagate. In the meantime I now have to double-check my email error logging situation which will be more work and I've barely started with the HF.com.

So that's how half a day of work goes very often. I end up not accomplishing what I set out to do and I end up with something new on my list.

This thread is so maybe I can get some understanding (not sympathy) that this isn't easy and getting major projects done can be difficult.
