BYTES PER POST INCREASED
[mention=1] announced an increase in bytes earned through posting. With this change, users will now receive 3 bytes per post instead of 1. Upgraded members will still see an increase in bytes earned based on their tier. Leet members will receive 4.5 bytes per post, while Ub3R members will receive 6 bytes per post. E-WHORING REBRANDED
During Octoberfest we received an update which resulted in the E-Whoring section being rebranded to Adult Content Management. The fIcon which has been used for years was also replaced with a new design. You can view the announcement and discussions on these changes by checking out this thread.
CREW USERBARS UPDATE
A recent change to custom crew userbars has increased the max file size from 60k to 150k. This is intended to help incentivize members to upgrade their images or even rebrand the entire crew. You can see the post announcing this update by clicking here.

AWARD PRICE INCREASED
The Bytes Bag is about to get a bit more expensive. An announcement was made that the award as of November 1st will be re-valued at 30,000 bytes. With the announcement, it was also mentioned that the price would continue to increase over time. More of an incentive to go ahead and purchase the award now while it is still cheap. And with the recent updates in bytes per post, it's easier now than before. You can read the thread discussing the change here.
CAPTCHA REMOVED
After several users discussed complications due to Cloudflare Captcha, the decision was made to remove the Captcha. This should make posting and replying to PM's easier for newer members. These changes may revert back if it proves to be problematic. You can find more information in this thread.
WARNING LEVEL CHANGES
Some changes were made to the Warning System in order to be a little less harsh than before. Posting limitation times have been reduced along with a decreased ban lengths. You can view the list of warnings, their values and effects by taking a look at this thread.

I have added the category of Bytes Bonuses to the history page as a sort option.
Members should be aware there are a few categories of Byte Bonuses you can earn on a regular basis.
1. A daily bonus of 250 Bytes are given out to a random member who did at least a 10 byte donation.
2. A weekly bonus of 500 Bytes to all members who made 100 posts in the a week (run on Mondays). Please note some forums are exempt such as Lounge and Group Forums.
A lot of new members ask about earning bytes. This thread can help them figure that out.

After reviewing some options at Cloudflare with Turnstile (Managed Challenge) I have opted to experiment with removing of Captcha on the site. This may help with new members who are forced to pass Captcha to send PMs or make posts. It should also make registration and logins easier as well.
Unsure how this will go because if a bot problem arises and things get out of control then I'll just add Captcha back, which has done a good job, but I know that it can also make HF harder for new members.
