RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - GruntStyl - Feb 14, 2025 Got rid of a lot of BTC back in 2016-2017. Learned my lesson. I will never sell off all my BTC ever again. Maybe small amounts here and there until more global adoption takes place, then I can just use BTC as payment everywhere. But I will always keep the majority of it. RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - raceconditioned - Feb 14, 2025 Same here, for any alt as well as BTC. I sold a shit ton of ETH when it was at $20 to buy a laptop, big regret. Now I am riding nearly 7 figs in ETH/BTC and as long as I don't need the money for life expenses and investments, I let it chill there, definitely not risking potential copium on missing out on millions of profits in future, just slow a bit here and there to get on. RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - Blockonome - Feb 14, 2025 Staying in Bitcoin for sure, I believe the only way is up in the long term future. RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - jaytench - Feb 15, 2025 Stay in Bitcoin, sell the rest. This is where I've ultimately landed after many years of dabbling around in crypto. Are there other use cases for other coins besides BTC? Of course. But as far as investing in a coin, just stick with BTC and don't panic sell. It will continue to go up but will have its massive dips as well. RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - NoodleBotâ„¢ - Feb 15, 2025 ~2 holding since 2015. Hanging on for the ride. Diamond hands. He's holding 10 years and that's the whole point. Just Buy Bitcoin and hold it for 10 years and it's a huge multiple even from here at $100k. BTC in 10 years absolutely will be $1m+. So if you can start stacking now even $25k worth, that's gonna be a $250k nest egg. Keep waiting another decade and likely be $1m+. Bitcoin is the only crypto I am positive is going to continue to have long-term value in the market. I don't believe ETH has it, even if it's still around, definitely not LTC, just not sexy, and it's a gamble on which Smart Contract chain is gonna moon and take the majority of the market. In the end, 90% of any portfolio should be Bitcoin. That's my stance on it. Everyone has their own strategy but there is nobody who has BTC from 10 years ago that wishes they sold it for ETH or any other crypto of that era. And there was lots of them too, same as now. All those promises are nearly worthless. RE: Are you staying in bitcoin or pulling out? - Zher0 - Feb 16, 2025 (Feb 14, 2025 07:28 AM)GruntStyl Wrote: Got rid of a lot of BTC back in 2016-2017. I will always be holding some sort of Bitcoin. |
