If you're to make a guide, at least know what you're talking about first. * - A Powerade - Jun 22, 2014 (Jun 22, 2014 08:03 PM)Industry Wrote: There's several definitions you've provided here that are incorrect. Award Whore - I will be the first one out of the majority of user's that have this award to say it, the goal isn't to achieve all awards. Being an award whore means you are constantly trying to get new awards. I have turned down several awards, and also had a few purposely removed. I'm sure that others would agree, to obtain all isn't the idea or goal. DDoS - Distributed Denial of service attack. Mining - Maintaining the block chain is called mining, and those who do are rewarded with newly created Coins* and transaction fees. Miners may be located anywhere in the world. Miners process payments by verifying each transaction as valid and adding it to the block chain. A few other definitions are a bit off, but still get the point through. But as I said, if you plan on making a tutorial, make sure it's done right. If you were doing it for anything other than recognition, your pride in creating the guide would have deterred you from releasing it half finished. At least in my opinion. Nice job though, either way. * - A Powerade - Jun 22, 2014 (Jun 22, 2014 08:17 PM)Industry Wrote: Hmm, well since you asked. Thanks, I have edited those definitions. And concerning your last paragraph, this is not a tutorial, it is a guide that was created by me with maybe 10 phrases with definitions. Since it was started, I have relied on the community here to come up with more words and phrases to add to the guide along with those that I found on my own. Also, thank you for the help. The Support Feather awards was given when you made 100 high quality posts on this forum. * - A Powerade - Nov 19, 2014 (Nov 18, 2014 06:51 PM)Aurа Wrote: I would add SF (since it's related to HF due to the award) Thanks, I added this to the OP. 🤝 Also made some corrections on spelling and grammar that I didn't catch before. * - Sir - Nov 19, 2014 Apples - slang for reputation points, hence; Green Apples = Positive reputation / Red Apples = Negative reputation. * - A Powerade - Nov 19, 2014 (Nov 19, 2014 11:48 AM)Starstruck Wrote: Apples - slang for reputation points, hence; Green Apples = Positive reputation / Red Apples = Negative reputation.
