Need windows 7 ultimate official download link - Milky - Jan 12, 2010 I need a link to a official microsoft windows 7 ultimate download. Not a torrent. I have a serial jsut need a downlaod link. cheers guys * - Joey K - Jan 12, 2010 Here's guide + links of the direct links to win7: First: The links Windows 7 64-Bit (x64): http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79946/Win7-P-Retail-en-us-x64.exe http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79946/setup1.box http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79946/setup2.box Windows 7 32-Bit (x86): http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79643/Win7-P-Retail-en-us-x86.exe http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79643/setup1.box http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/msvista/pub/X15-79643/setup2.box Notice how its in 3 separate files? The exe unpacks the .box files into a folder called "extended setup". Make sure all 3 files are in the C:\, and double click the EXE. Wait. Some idiots seem to have a problem with the next part -.-' Now, browse to extendedsetup/sources/ and delete "ei.cfg" Run the setup.exe to install and over write your current OS or burn to CD ROM. * - Milky - Jan 12, 2010 thanks alot realy appreciate this, also can i ask why i have to delete that file because im litteraly only sending these links to a windows 7 ultimate customer. thanks again * - Joey K - Jan 12, 2010 You have to delete that file so that it can install any version you want. It will let you install the version you like in the setup. * - Milky - Jan 12, 2010 (Jan 12, 2010 11:08 AM)Sonix™ Wrote: You have to delete that file so that it can install any version you want. Actually, I said delete "ei.cfg" Then when you install, it gives you the option to install any version of Win7. |
