[help] How to direct domain -> Digitalocean server - adaм - Oct 3, 2015 Hello. I recently bought a domain from a company I've never used before and it seems like they have "DNS board" very similar to Digitalocean and thus I get confused. I can't just pass in the three nameservers like you do on the default domain registars like name, namecheap, goddady etc. This is the DNS settings for the domain https://i.imgur.com/ja8pibC.png x.180 <-- that's my digitalocean server's IP address Is this correct? If someone could help me with this I'd be so grateful... regards * - Xing - Oct 3, 2015 You are missing Digital Ocean NS records Add ns1.digitalocean.com ns2.digitalocean.com and ns3.digitalocean.com to your domain registrars settings. Then head over to your DO account go to DNS and add the domain and point it to your droplet. |
