Hack Forums News // Edition 322 --- CHRISTMAS EDITION!!! - zSerity - Dec 19, 2016 ![]() ![]() NCA Surface on Hack Forums It is no surprise that the government lurk this site for unethical and illegal practices. On Dec. 12, the National Crime Agency (NCA) were the very first to surface on Hack Forums and actually post. Not many took heed of the NCA until Omniscient proceeded to then post confirmation of the authoritative figures behind the account. The message/unintentional warning came shortly after law enforcement targeted over 100 people who took part in committing DDoS attacks. Congratulations on achieving L33t, NCA. >>Source On a Positive Note... Christmas is Almost Here! Christmas being just around the corner, the Writers (both the Wiki and News Teams) wish you a very merry Christmas. Jingle Bells Batman Smells Robin Laid an Egg The Batmobile Lost a Wheel And Joker got away ![]() Historic Texts Recovered From ISIS Constructed over 1,500 years ago, the "Monastery of Martyr Mar Benham and his sister Sarah" held religious texts, illustrations and carved inscriptions dating back several hundred years. Christian in nature, the text are said to depict "lengthy colophons" of historical and social religious events. ISIS occupied the Christian monastery beginning June 2014 until just recently, November 2016, when it was recaptured by an Iraqi Christian unit combatting the efforts of ISIS in the nation. Due to the restless state of the nation, it is not sure whether the texts will be kept in Iraq or moved to Europe for safe keeping; however, said to contain the genealogy of Jesus Christ and other never before released religious works, much research on the texts is still to be done. >>Source Cellular Reprogramming Slows Aging The fountain of youth may very well be brewing somewhere in a graduated cylinder. According to a new study, Scientists have found that "induction of partial cellular reprogramming improved muscle regeneration in aged mice" with little to no noticeable side effects. When comparing two different mice suffering from the same premature aging defect, treatment was only given to one of the mice. The study found that the mouse receiving the treatment induced expressions of "Yamanaka" factors in all cells using their "partial reprogramming approach". Not only did the function of the kidneys, stomach, liver and skins cells improve, but the heart (the cardiovascular system often fails to be effected by similar treatment) also showed improvements in structure and function. >>Source Run Hack Forums Run Have you ever thought about taking up running as a hobby? FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler to Step Down
The savior of net neutrality is stepping down. Tom Wheeler, the chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, announced Thursday that he will resign from the agency Jan. 20, the day Donald Trump’s new administration begins. His departure means the FCC will start the Trump administration with a 2-1 Republican majority. The Obama appointee who has led the agency for three years, was the driving force behind a number of sweeping regulations that aimed to inject competition into the telecommunications sector. The move makes it easier for Republicans to try to repeal net neutrality, as well as other controversial actions taken by the agency’s Democratic majority under President Obama. Microsoft to Support Dolby Atmos on Xbox One and Windows 10 Microsoft announced that Windows 10 PCs and the Xbox One console are both set to get native support for Dolby Atmos, the new surround sound technology from Dolby Laboratories. The Xbox One will become the first console to feature Dolby Atmos sound, thanks to an update available on Xbox One Preview, its exclusive beta program. The full update for all users will be coming to consoles, Windows 10 PCs and tablets sometime in 2017. The Xbox One and Windows 10 integration will work with any headphones as well as compatible speaker systems or soundbars, Microsoft revealed. KickassTorrents Brought Back From the Dead After a long wait, a near perfect clone of the original Kickass Torrents (KAT) portal surfaced online Friday. Resurrected by a group of the original staff, who first brought the community part of the site back at katcr.co, the infamous torrent site is now located at katcr.co/new. KickassTorrents was shut down after its alleged founder, Artem Vaulin was arrested in Poland and all official domain names were seized by the US Justice Department. Even with the main website dead, a lot of clones of the popular torrent website cropped up on the web, but were nothing more than pale shadows of the original KickassTorrents. ![]() 1-Billion Yahoo Database Supposedly Sold for $300,000 on Dark Web It is no secret now to how public the details about the 2013 Yahoo data breach are. The latest attack which has been found to be condoned by Phantom Squad, affected users all around the world. Phantom Squad took credit for this attack on their Twitter, furthermore claiming that the attack was some sort of test. EA are still yet to comment on these claims, but claims by Phantom Squad may be probable. >>Source 305,000 PayAsUGym Credentials Stolen in Data Breach PayAsUGym recently confirmed that they had been the latest victims to a cyber-attack which affected 305,000 customers. App Annie has published data, which states that Super Mario Run was downloaded over 10 million times worldwide on December 15. That's 10 times the amount Pokemon Go managed in its first day! It's an impressive figure for Mario and Nintendo's mobile game debut, though it also isn't an especially fair comparison. Super Mario Run is available in 150 countries, whereas Pokemon Go launched in only three countries, albeit on iOS and Android. However, the game was downloaded by an estimated 3.5 million users in just the US alone, so it is fair to say that Pokemon Go's number were left in the dust. What do you think about Super Mario Run? * - zSerity - Dec 19, 2016 ![]() ![]() ![]() Aleppo Evacuations An array of areas within Syria have been taken over by both ISIL and insurgent groups. This has been the case over the last year or so and is continuing to be a large issue for those who are inhabitants of Syria. In Aleppo, mass chaos has been taking place in which adults, children, and even infants are losing their lives due to a slew of bombings and firefights that are taking place in the region. "Thousands of people were evacuated from the last rebel-held enclave of Aleppo on Monday in return for insurgents allowing people to leave two besieged pro-government villages in nearby Idlib province." While the United Nations is concerned about the people of Aleppo, the U.N. does not want insurgents to make their way out of the region. Insurgents are still occupying Aleppo with scores vowing to die fighting for what they deemed to be their land. Blac Chyna Versus Rob Kardashian “Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna seemed to be living in baby bliss ever since Dream Kardashian was born, but this weekend it became clear that not everything was rainbows and roses.” On Saturday, Chyna’s account on the popular social media platform known as Instagram was supposedly taken over by an unknown hacker. While the hacker was in control, he/she managed to post a plethora of screenshots that went on to show Chyna had other plans for being with Rob. According to the images posted on her Instagram account, Chyna wanted to own a $10M home without Rob. Even more, she wanted to get married and trademark the last name Kardashian in hopes of cashing in on the family business that is ballooning in size as time continues to move forward. Fast forward to today and Rob has made a public apology in which he pleads with Chyna to return home. Is this the beginning of the end for Rob and Chyna? Russian Ambassador Assassinated The shooting of Andrey G. Karlov, a Russian ambassador, took place earlier this morning. A shootout ensued after the assailant had murdered Mr. Karlov in cold blood. Moments after the shootout began, the 22-year old suspect was declared dead. The shooter, an off-duty police officer, had shouted prior and after the shooting.“God is great!” and “don’t forget Aleppo, don’t forget Syria!” The security team that was watching over Mr. Karlov was weak and not properly orchestrated as has been reported by Turkish officials. “President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia said on Russian television that Mr. Karlov had been “despicably killed” to sabotage ties with Turkey.” As of now. President Putin and Turkish President Erdogan are going to work in cahoots with one another to get to the bottom of the senseless killing. ![]() ![]() View Team (Click to View)
