Exiled Usertitle Bug (nothing major) - Dredd - Jan 8, 2017

I apologise for posting in the wrong section I'm just not sure where to post these kinds of threads.

Okay so I could be complelty wrong but recently I noticed Mr. Burnham went on a 3 day vacation from HF. You can see this on the bans page, but if you visit his profile it shows exiled@HF:

Mr. Burnham profile link

So after doing a bit of digging and conversing with Mr. Burnham I believe this bug is caused by the user using the default usertitle before they VAC ban which causes the default usertitle of exiled@HF:.

It's really that big of a problem since I guess people could just set their usertitle as exiled@HF: and then VAC ban, but in cases like his I genuinely thought he got banned and only after talking to him and him explaining he hadn't done anything and when going on the site it says he was actually away on vacation.

Nothing major just something I noticed 🤝

A vacation ban adds the user to the group 'banned', the same group where people banned for breaking a rule are added to, hence the same user title. I'm not sure if it's worth it to re-code the self-ban feature in such a way that it would not overwrite the existing user title, or if it's worth to make a clone of the 'banned' group and call it vacbanned for example, inherit all permissions, but not fill in a user title for that group.

This bug only affects people with the default user title, people with custom usertitles are not affected.

EVERYONE CHANGE YOUR USERTITLE SO IT DOESN'T SAY EXILED WHEN YOU TAKE A VAC BAN.

If you look at the bans page it will tell you its only vac ban anyway, HFES will even put the reason on the profile for easy viewing
