Are you a fan of Anime and Manga? Want to have fun with some chill nerds? Want to meme all day every day like it's the only thing that matters? Well wowzers you should really join our server. freak.

Baka Land is setup in just a way where new users can subscribe to certain channels, so you can pick and choose what sort of topics and cliques you see. Want to join but don't want to actually talk about anime trash? Our maid-cafe (lounge) is perfect for you. Want to talk about music perchance? Well, shit... yeah we got room for music geeks too!

How do our hidden channels work?

Code
When you first join our community you'll have access to only a small handful of channels. This is to prevent new users from being overwhelmed, and for users to pick and choose what sort of topics they'd like displayed, and to hide any unnecessary channels as to prevent spam build-up.

New users should have these channels visible, in order;

#announcements, #information, #maid-cafe, #bot-commands.

Don't be confused, we have plenty other channels available as well, it's just they're currently hidden from you!

Our current hidden channels are;

#rpg, #anime, #manga, #baka-hentai, #innuendo, #music, #politics.

More channels are on the way. We have several other channels but those are actually inaccessible unless you have very specific roles, ones which cannot be easily gained.

How would you go about joining one of these hidden channels?

Code
Now that you understand how these roles and channels work, you should start figuring out what channels and cliques you should join!

In order to join a channel you need to go to #bot-commands and type;

.rank [channel name]

The current channel names are;

- rpg

- anime

- manga

- music

- politics

- nsfw

- innuendo

So if you're interested in joining our rpg channel you'd type out (  .rank rpg  ) in the #bot-commands channel. If you're no longer interested in that particular channel you'd just have to retype that to remove the hidden role. Being a member of these channels shouldn't ruin the layout of your ranks, and should be mostly invisible.

Are members able to moderate their own personal channels?

Code
Now that we're able to implement these organized channels, we plan to start allowing our ace members to own and moderate their own channels, and advertising members in the #maid-cafe to join their cliques.

At the moment this isn't available, but if you believe you have a fun idea you'd like to implement, or perhaps even a new bot channel you'd like to try, send Nevieth (me) a private message. Just let me know you're talking about Baka Land.

We'll also soon use these hidden channels along with our purchasable roles, more on this soon. Remember to do !points in #bot-commands to check how many points you've accumulated, and make sure to type .shop to see what new unique colored roles you can buy to turn your profile pretty!

So what are you waiting for? Join Baka Land today and have some fun!

Please inform me via PM if our invite link is no longer available.

As with any server, abide by all Discord terms of service. Spamming, flaming and posting of NSFW images and contents (unless posted via appropriate mediums) will have you removed from the server. As always, use common sense!

I've been apart of this server since the days of Baka and Wallflower. I must say that while its filed with weebs ( ;D ), its a good server. Some new changes have been made but from what I've seen, Nev certainly knows how to improve things. So if you have any interest in anime, lounging, or Nev (hehe), come join and hangout..

No, not paid (or even a staff member) for saying this. Its legit.

Thanks so much for the love!

You've definitely been a long-standing member of our server. :)

I first joined the server probably in the middle of march. Of course I wasn't active since the beginning but when I was active I always had some fun. Now since I'm active, talking to others and just being chill and hanging out is a treat. Wanna talk anime or just chill? This is the prime space to be. :)

Thanks!

Yeah when you first joined you rarely talked, and when you did it was related to the WallFlower circlejerk. :P
I was bummed when you left and quite pleased you returned.

You're right too, it's a good place to talk even if you're not that into anime... it's not like our discussions are anime 100% of the time.

Thanks Buildoman!

We're definitely a great place to come to if you want to talk about anime and manga, or even just to have a normal conversation.
We have the best memes too but I leave the appraising to the professionals.
