Rep Abuse? - Caleb™ - Sep 29, 2017 I was just wondering if this is false rep. Sometime ago i recieved this rep, i figured it was so fucking retarded no one believes it, but some people actually do lol. Here's the rep: FastBets (143) Neutral (0): PLEASE READ THIS REPUTATION. This user promotes islamic terrorism, including ISIS. He has talked about stealing money from non-muslims before. PLEASE DWC. Does this go under as rep abuse or not? Since he talks about me having the intention to scam other users * - DeadKube - Sep 29, 2017 Lol that's funny. Want more funny, read my rep :) * - Caleb™ - Sep 29, 2017 (Sep 29, 2017 10:26 AM)- Sam - Wrote: I would contact the member to have him edit the reputation. If not I would message Omniscient. I don't think that should be acceptable. Exactly. It's a bad thing to have on your profile, but he's currently selfbanned and idk how long he will be. * - Elitas - Sep 29, 2017 Quote:• Ripped me off in a currency exchange in Skype Please refer to the above quote taken directly from the Help Documents. It doesn't appear to be considered an 'Invalid Reputation'. <<< * - Armada - Sep 29, 2017 (Sep 29, 2017 02:21 PM)Elitas Wrote: Please refer to the above quote taken directly from the Help Documents. Although true, its still kinda fucked up, gotta admit.... * - Vitani - Sep 30, 2017 Although this reputation is not in direct violation with any of the rules surrounding invalid reputation, I'd say this reputation is in a grey area as does suggest you have the intention to scam. You actually got 2 different reputations that say you "talked about stealing from non-muslims". Is that just a coincidence or? * - Caleb™ - Sep 30, 2017 (Sep 30, 2017 02:28 AM)Vitani Wrote: Although this reputation is not in direct violation with any of the rules surrounding invalid reputation, I'd say this reputation is in a grey area as does suggest you have the intention to scam. Both are revenge reps. The second one just copied exactly what the first one said lol. * - Raz Riverblade - Oct 1, 2017 calling someone a terrorist without solid grounds to do so is a severe accusation and insult. I had insulting reps removed in the past so I think it's breaking a rule. * - Elitas - Oct 1, 2017 (Oct 1, 2017 05:40 AM)Raz Riverblade Wrote: calling someone a terrorist without solid grounds to do so is a severe accusation and insult. Correct. This would be breaking reputation rules. Reputation abuse isn't just 'Scammer Reputation'. Read the following quote from Help Docs: Quote:Can members write anything they want when giving reputation? Flaming users in general isn't allowed and this is also included in reputation. Now, whether Omniscient would consider this flaming or not is up to him. See Help Documents - Reputation System. * - Armada - Oct 1, 2017 (Oct 1, 2017 06:25 AM)Elitas Wrote: Flaming users in general isn't allowed and this is also included in reputation. I did not call the guy a scammer, but the rep I left was less than kosher, so to speak, and it did NOT go over well with Omni.... * - Elitas - Oct 1, 2017 (Oct 1, 2017 06:45 AM)Armada Wrote: Can vouch for this... How did the user report your reputation? As far as I'm aware, contacting Omni about invalid reputation comes with a whole lot of risks in the event that it doesn't qualify. And the validity of a reputation is completely at Omniscient's discretion. * - Armada - Oct 1, 2017 (Oct 1, 2017 12:59 PM)Elitas Wrote: How did the user report your reputation? I left a bad rep on a user and Omni contacted me directly about it. warning or ban also, I cant recall TBH... But yea dont do it, not a good idea. * - Mαxim - Oct 1, 2017 It's a stupid rep to leave someone. Send a PM to Omniscient. It'll most likely fall under Using extremely coarse language to describe or berate a member. And you can't resolve it directly with him because, oh, who would have thought, he's banned. Just don't call it false rep. There's no such thing. |
