Hack Forums News // Edition 370 - Hydra - Nov 20, 2017 ![]() HF News Twitter Writ3rs' HF News Team now has a twitter account which will be very active in tweeting. Our goal is to deliver news as early as possible and Twitter does the job. Follow and enable notifications so you're one of the first to be up to date. A few of us will have access to the account and will sign our tweets with initials that will be identifiable for the most part. e.g. iHydra = HY, Froggy = FG, Soulmate = SM. We will be tweeting user news such as bans, changes small or big, user happenings and drama, and more. Not everything that happens on HF needs a thread but they all deserve a tweet. We'll be launching a giveaway next week to spread the word, stay tuned! Follow us at @HFWrit3rs deVoid Theme and Tabs Go Live Omniscient, in the face of a barrage of criticism over the previous retro-inspired purple theme, decided to craft a gray scale theme for Hack Forums. He also chose to bring back tabs as a form of navigation on the site. Many elements on the new theme aren't yet final, any constructive criticism of the new theme is welcome on the announcement thread.>>Source Avatar Gallery Installed The gallery of avatars is now available to all members, announced Omniscient on the thread Avatar Gallery Installed in Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback. Omniscient also mentioned that remote avatars aren't being allowed at this time and urged upgraded users to upload images they wish to use as an avatar. Removing avatars has also been disabled for the time being. The link to change your avatar can be found in the source thread.>>Source Let the man Work Omniscient created a thread with a fairly simple message in the Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback section. He is asking the community as a whole to give his inbox a break over the upgrade situation and allow him to work on making the necessary improvements rather than replying to dozens of private messages about the same thing. He also publicly shot down many of the most common suggestions he has been getting. >>Source ![]() User News
