Bought a macbook with a wiped HDD and now i need to install OS - Multi-Millionaire - Jan 21, 2018

I have tried following the steps to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OpF0jJMJzI but keep getting a prohibited  error. I only have  a windows PC to try and create a bootable  OS but I am getting nowhere, please help!

Have you tried to boot into the mac integrated recovery to download the OS from there directly to the mac?

I try this and a folder blinks with a question mark on it

get the free version of transmac, then get your .dmg for whatever osx version you want
tranmac has an option to format for apple/mac
make your bootable usb this way

Install windows on the Mac then do it that way which has worked for me previously.

Already tried this I keep getting the prohibbited error when I do this

I would download Yumi or Universal USB installer...or whatever bootable usb creator you like and download the latest OSX ISO from a website like geintopc.co.
Create a bootable USB, startthe macbook from it and use the disk manager from the installer to repartition the drive. Then install your OSX...

I still haven't got my MacBook running. I think my only option is to try with another MacBook? I might have to go into the Apple Store and do it off one of their macs

If you have a friend with a macbook ask them if you could clone there hard drive then from there place it in your laptop and start the factory recovering procedures.
