Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - XelXel - Sep 22, 2018 Profile link www.hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=2361662 Thread Link www.hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5882181 (Short Description) I messaged frutk to sell bitcoin to him, he bought 100$ from me with a contract, then asked if I wanted to sell the rest(160$) I accepted but he wanted to do with without a contract, as the newbie I am I assume it will be fine considering we previously made a deal. I sent him the bitcoin but he made an excuse that he cannot access PayPal and never replied back to my messages. Description/Proof (Sorry for all the links you will be seeing) I messaged frutk to see if he was interested in buying Bitcoin from me. He accepted and said that he will buy $100 worth which went well here: www.hackforums.net/contracts.php?action=view&cid=9601 As the newbie I am at this site he asked if he asked if I wanted to exchange more. I accepted because I had $150 worth left. www.gyazo.com/191f787ffcbbd108df6fac2e74260f42 (Proof) I replied back and so did he. www.gyazo.com/ede0c2e6c998014d511ea6f061cc00ad He made the suggestion to do without a contract, I thought about it and agreed I assumed him to be a trusted person considering his Rep and that we previously completed a deal with $100 www.gyazo.com/6e567b6a98c566250404422864fa023a I tell him that I will send it after he replies, he does so with another bitcoin address. So I send the bitcoin to that address. www.gyazo.com/645f0568905a5bf5a7af78ddfaf63b9f I do so and give him the TID: 8685f7d8fa6302131d105ff628107e4cb66378a825d286354f8b1245a5bf1826 www.gyazo.com/5684b7bb3a597e9d803f5a8eef05e330 Then the last message I receive, he replies with: www.gyazo.com/64f44963922d8872195196a704ed8b06 I never received the money and frutk never replied back, he also hasn't posted anything in the past 4 days. RE: Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - Tempr5 - Sep 22, 2018 So you didnt use a contract? No point in posting then. make alert RE: Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - XelXel - Sep 22, 2018 I only made this as a warning, I don't expect anything from it. Isn't that what you are supposed to do? I saw many threads on this page that made it without a contract. How do I make an alert? RE: Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - Frost - Sep 22, 2018 Sorry for your loss but HF won't give a shit if you don't follow their "rules", next time use a MM or be cautious. I used a contract on the deal I made with him 10 mins before and assumed that it wouldn't matter because I thought the contract was a way of confirming that the buyer wouldn't scam. He asked to do it without so I went with it, I didn't want to break the deal down because I didn't feel comfortable. Turns out my train of thought was wrong that no matter what you have to use a contract. I blame my ignorance on researching the rules and the advantages of contracts. RE: Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - CryptoGeek - Sep 22, 2018 Really sorry for you loss man. Hope you get your money back RE: Scammed by frutk for $160+ | UID = 2361662 - Vitani - Sep 22, 2018 Since you did not use Contracts for the deal you were scammed on, this deal dispute is considered invalid. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts! Looks like you must have sent it to a different BTC address. Doesn't look like you sent from the same wallet either, did you? Do a quick search on the user, and you'll find that they scammed many times. I am just appalled at that user for breaking the rules and taking advantage of the system by knowingly and intentionally avoiding using contracts during a currency exchange SCAM. The user had basically manipulated you into not using the contracts, to avoid them from getting a negative b-rating, and essentially avoid getting a valid deal dispute written against them. (use of contracts) That is why I wrote this thread https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5887466 To get scammers like that user off of the web.
