Can anyone help me jb my ps3. I can't find any legit things for it.

Go on youtube and search for MR Mario 2001 or 2011
He has a legit tutorial on doing it.

I've done all of the steps correctly but everytime I go to update the ps3 with a cfw file it says "The data is corrupted" with an error code. Not really sure what to do.

OP make sure you have correct version of ps3 first, check out this website, some valuable info on there.
