Announcements

Hackuman - Ruby Egg - Xerotic
An all-new award has come along with the new Hackuman update. You can now get yourself a ruby egg. This egg is meant to be a little bit more powerful than the green egg but not as powerful as the blue eggs. Some users have mentioned the egg is pretty much the same as the green egg but the egg is still new and balancing the egg to be what it is meant to be is still in the works so there could be more to this story than meets the eye.
Hackuman - Special Powers & Effects - Xerotic
Hackuman has been updated to have special attacks. These attacks are similar to Pokemon's style of special effects where they would be confused or even asleep. The effects are currently not very effective towards any of the hackuman but it does show the game is really coming together now and is forming a new style, and even making a turn from just plain old simple attacks.

Informational Threads

USA hits nearly Half-million cases (corona virus) - Yert
The USA has reached nearly 500,000 cases of the coronavirus. They have reported that nearly 25,000 of them have recovered just fine, but there are nearly 20,000 people who sadly haven't been able to make it the same way, and have passed away. The USA is trying its very best to control the outbreak, but it is easier said than done when the USA is such a big place.
Your $1200 may be on its way. - Itachi Uchiha
The USA has started giving families stimulus checks of $1,200. People should start seeing the payment within there bank accounts, but for some people, it may take a little longer as there is a lot of money to go around for everyone to get a cut. The treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, said that the checks should be sent out as of 6 April.

Entertaining Threads

Hackuman - New Monster? - Xerotic
Xerotic has made a thread to encourage people of the site to share there designs and ideas for a new hackuman monster. Some users have made some really nice designs and we all can just hope to see some of these monsters in the game in the near future. But for now, we all can just share our designs with the community and play the waiting game.
To all lazy mofos - Dotexe
Are you always feeling lazy, do you work online? Well, we have found the homepage for you. Dotexe has shared a website he found with everyone, and it will motivate you to the point where you are the most productive person going. We had a good laugh at this thread and we hope you do as well.
Blue light filtering glasses - Mercury
Blue light, some of us get really affected by it and some of us don't. Raven has asked the members of the site what they think about Blue light filtering glasses and if they even work. Most people are saying that they are just a waste of money and its just a cash grab. One or two members are saying that they noticed a little different and it helped them so the review is very mixed.

Anime Postponements Due to COVID-19 Outbreak
Due to the COVID-19 virus, we have more anime that will be postponed to a later date. For those unaware, just because one episode is out doesn't mean the rest is complete. With that being said, while the first episode might have aired, episode two and three might still be in the works until the day of release for that scheduled episode to air to the public. It's a shame that various sequels will not have their chance to shine as so many fans were looking forward to seeing anime such as, "Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu 2nd Season" and "Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. Kan".

The full list of shows that will not be airing until a later date are:

Demon Slayer achieved various awards, such as "best TV anime," "best male character," and even "best female character" over the past year. The story will act as the sequel to the first season, and if you cross your fingers and hope that the COVID-19 situation has calmed down, the movie will air on Oct. 16 of this year. Provided by Viz media, the introduction is, "While under the care of the Demon Slayer Corps leaders, Shinobu, Tanjirou, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko have recovered. They have even learned a new and powerful technique—Total Concentration! They'll need this new power and all their skills on their next demon-hunting mission aboard the mysterious Infinity Train as it takes them into the dreams of demons!" If you are a fan of the manga, the movie will take place during the Mugen Ressha-hen arc, which translates to "infinity train arc." Microsoft Helping Out
With the closure of Microsoft stores, Microsoft has given its retail workers a new way of working from home. Employees can volunteer for a remote customer service program that will have a weekly incentive and the purpose of educating schools, companies, health care staff, etc. about how to use Microsoft Teams. David Porter, vice president of the stores, said that 80 percent of employees had already signed up for the program. As a result, 65,000 health care workers have been trained on their own over the past month. Teams have seen a massive rise in usage, with a 200 percent increase in use over the last month. Besides teaching people how to use teams, interactive coding workshops for children will also be carried out. >>Source

Amazon Is Building a Testing Lab
Amazon has still been delivering packages as regularly as possible during this outbreak. A downside to this, 50 of their warehouses so far have had tested positive with COVID-19. Some workers were not informed that other people around them tested positive in the same environment until it hit the news. To flatten this curve and protect its employees, Amazon is building its lab for testing. “A team of Amazonians with a variety of skills – from research scientists and program managers to procurement specialists and software engineers – have moved from their normal day jobs onto a dedicated team to work on this initiative,” said Amazon. While this is a challenge to check all their staff, they are eager to keep going on with their plans. >>Source

Apple and Google Teaming Up in a Rare Occurrence
Two of the biggest tech companies, Apple and Google, who usually compete, are now working together to build IOS and Android apps that will "contact trace" COVID-19. “We hope to harness the power of technology to help countries around the world slow the spread of COVID-19 and accelerate the return of everyday life,” both companies said. There are going to be two phases for this project. Next month, both companies will release APIs to the applications that are created by “public health authorities could work on both iPhones and phones that run Google’s Android operating system”. When this is completed, the second stage will consist of all companies creating a cooperative monitoring program that will be implemented directly in iOS and Android. When anyone volunteers to apply, they'll be put in a queue of other people who've volunteered as well. The phones will then communicate with each other through Bluetooth, and the signals will randomize every 15 minutes. When anyone contracts the virus, they will be able to add their test results to the app. Everyone who has been around this individual before being tested positive will be informed that they have been exposed to the virus. While this sounds like a smart idea, a lot of privacy issues have been posed and will take a lot of work before this project is launched. >>Source
