USA hits nearly Half-million cases (corona virus)

Just curious what everyone’s opinions are now that the USA has almost 500k cases of corona virus. The ratio I viewed was so messed up and weird, and just almost impossible to predict.

I viewed that we have over 480k cases, but 25k have recovered from it, and and 16k have died from it. That ratio is extremely fucked.

I’m curious what your opinion is for as too what you think will happen? This can be realistic point of view or ever a theory you think is possible.
The sauce doesn't seems to be realistic. i see every different sites there. according to wordometer

Considering it is generally the most vulnerable populations that die first, this numerically barely even qualifies as a significant event. If there were no media hype around this, nobody would care what so ever and life would go on as usual. We are still under the number of regular flu deaths of 24k-62k annually (CDC numbers). We can triple the death toll in the US and still only be equal to regular seasonal influenza.
It takes a while to recover from the virus, that's why the recovery rate is low at the moment.
It doesn't surprise me, I don't think a lot of Americans are taking it seriously.

Americans have way better things to worry about.

Dang, I didn't know that many people die from heart issues each year. Surely we should still take Covid-19 seriously though.
Things I'd consider worrisome:

- Lack of testing kits (imagine the number of people who are in contact/have the virus and aren't tested)
- The rate of exponential growth with viruses (think x2/100% increase every 3 days)
- The after-effects of the virus, post-recovery. The damage done to your respiratory system can reduce your lifespan. (Theory: I could see there being a higher mortality rate from those who recover who just have a shorter life-span, than the mortality rate from the virus directly.)
I mean america did always say america first, so I mean it makes sense, all jokes aside you guys are handling it horrible in the states
It just keeps on getting worse and worse man. Soon I think were going to hit first place for deaths.
Sorry to hear that but it's fault of your president other countries are doing very well to control it.
that is mad crazy bro, hope everything will turn out well..

Imagine life at it's full peak..
Then imagine laying dead in the arms of your enemy.
I am sure those numbers aren't completely accurate due to the virus being so new; meaning the data is hard to collect in so little time.

What I interpreted from this is that it can only get worse though. As the world goes on, and on for 10+ years. This virus may linger. I truly think that it could of been man made at this point.

Lol. This is a joke. Take that dumbass note elsewhere.

Quoting this.. it’s important. The lack of tests are very important. Also people “not” knowing they have it. Apparently now people will show no symptoms and have it. That’s the problem, it will linger and stay around for a long long time. Maybe when we’re 50-60 we’ll die from it.

The scary part is the amount that’s only recovered out of the 490k+ people is like 25k, 17k dead. So carriers will continue to have, and some will yes of course fight it off but it will still “linger” around.

With approximately 100,000 CoronaVirus cases worldwide, and 3,280 deaths, the United States, because of quick action on closing our borders, has, as of now, only 129 cases (40 Americans brought in) and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!

I lol'd, but what you said is not right. Look at Italy or Spain, both in a shithole and many more countries that do not release ACTUAL numbers.

Edit:

The USA has bad numbers, yes. 27k recovered and 18k dead.
But if we look at germany, 53k recovered and 2k dead.

One country has a good healthcare system and the other one has a system only for the rich $$
