what is the context? you want to use a Android to perform network sniffing, if so, on the phones traffic or as a MITM attack? is the Android rooted?

Mitm and no root is there an easy way to root android 13 device

1. rooting can be done, but no, it's not easy, rather medium level, have to be able to read and follow instructions
2. i'd say your best option would be passive scanning, not MITM, you can install nethunter and run that, but you will not have packet injection and monitor mode aka it will be slopy
3. depending from how dedicated you are, i'd say buy a Raspberry Pi or smth, a wifi adapter and run from there, nowadays there are so many different cheap gadgets that imo there is no point to run from a phone only
