Bumps Fixed By Omniscient

A recent issue affecting Bytes bump fee deductions has now been resolved after it was discovered that some bumps were being processed without the required fee being applied. The cause was traced back to a faulty IF statement which under certain conditions failed to include the "alter_bytes()" function. This allowed some bumps to bypass the intended Bytes fee process. A fix has now been implemented and the system is expected to operate as normal moving forward. Users are encouraged to report any further issues they encounter so they can be investigated.

Fake AI Members By Omniscient

Omniscient is looking for community feedback and has put out a poll asking members how AI should be integrated into Hack Forums. At the time of writing "Don't bother with AI" is leading the poll with 60%, followed by "AI Designated Members" at 29% while "Fake Members" is behind at 8%. A lot of the discussion so far has focused on authenticity with many members expressing concerns about not knowing if they are talking to a real user or an AI one. Not everyone is against the idea some members have shown support for designated AI accounts with a few specifically mentioning Stanley as an example of how AI could have a place on the forum without misleading users. The discussion is still ongoing if you are for AI or against it now is probably the best time to make your voice heard. Be sure to weigh in on the discussion and cast your vote in the poll.

▸ HF Notifier [Telegram + Discord Integration]
by Charlie Sheen

A very useful release that brings Hack Forums notifications straight into Telegram and Discord. Charlie Sheen built HFNotify using the HF API, Firebase, and a VPS worker, with support for replies, private convos, mentions, thread replies, quick loves, quotes, popularity updates, and even contract alerts. The thread also shows the tool evolving quickly, with realtime convo support, duplicate-prevention, better setup instructions, encrypted session handling, and an official Chrome/Brave helper extension. A clean community tool that solves a real HF problem, especially for users who want faster alerts on mobile.

▸ How are you using and or monetizing Clawdbot / Moltbot / Openclaw
by Digital Plug

An interesting discussion around how people are actually using agent-style AI tools beyond the usual hype. OP opens the thread by asking what real value members are getting from Clawdbot, Moltbot, and Openclaw, especially when it comes to automation and monetization. The replies touch on personal AI agents, workflow automation, cold-calling ideas, Agno, nanoclaw, zeroclaw, and the growing overlap between AI agents and crypto.

▸ Win Bytes With This Tool That Shows Winning Probability Between Teams
by JoseMar

A detailed tool release from JoseMar that turns sports betting data into a simple Streamlit dashboard. The project uses Python, pandas, requests, and The Odds API to compare matches, display signals, and estimate winning probabilities between teams. What makes the thread stand out is how beginner-friendly the write-up is, walking users through the API key, dependencies, local setup, and interface screenshots. It also includes an important reminder that probability tools do not guarantee wins and users should understand betting risk before putting in money.

▸ [Release] HFdle - the daily Hack Forums trivia game
by xadamxk

A fun community release that turns Hack Forums history, awards, culture, and inside jokes into a daily trivia game. xadamxk built HFdle as a Wordle-style challenge where users can sign in with their HF account, play daily modes, build streaks, compete on leaderboards, and test their knowledge across awards, Help Docs, site history, and community trivia. The thread already shows members getting into it, finding bugs, giving feedback, and asking for more interactive apps like this.

▸ ServerSearch.org: Your VPS might be too expensive!
by Rawl

A useful showcase for anyone who buys VPS, dedicated servers, or cloud hosting and hates finding a better deal right after checkout. Rawl introduces ServerSearch.org as a hosting deal finder focused on curated promos, recurring discounts, provider reviews, and community checks to see whether deals are still live. It is aimed at users who want to avoid coupon-site noise and quickly compare better options before purchasing or renewing hosting. A practical bookmark for webmasters, forum owners, and anyone trying to keep server costs under control.

Every Day Is a New Beginning
People often think they need a new year, a new month, or a major life event to make a fresh start. The truth is that every morning offers the same opportunity. Yesterday's mistakes, failures, and regrets do not have to define today's choices.
A fresh start isn't about erasing the past—it's about learning from it and moving forward. The most successful people are not those who never fail, but those who are willing to begin again after setbacks. Every day gives you another chance to improve, grow, and become a better version of yourself.

Advice of the week
Don't let yesterday decide what today can become.

Quote of the week
“Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”
— Carl Bard
