I went the whole semester without a single ticket. On literally my last day of finals, I was running late so I parked in the visitors spot. I took off my decal and went to class. The test literally took me 30 minutes to take, I come outside to find I have 3 tickets that total to $125.

FUCKING STUPID. Now, I have to pay that by Friday or my classes get dropped for the Spring semester.

TL;DR - Was running late. Got 3 tickets on my LAST day. $125 total fine by Friday.

How the heck did you get THREE tickets in that time? They couldn't have even driven past it that quick.
At least the total is relatively low, I think the One ticket I got was $80
I was in a similar situation, about to be late, see somewhere I shouldn't park, park anyway. Except I think mine was an outright no parking at all spot.
It was a calculated risk.

Maybe you can talk them down? As one ticket every ten minutes seems a little extreme, but then again THEY WANT THEIR MONEY OM NOM NOM.

That's what I'm saying...I guess bad place at the worst time. The tickets I got were:

Failure to display decal.
Parking in non-permitted zone.
Out-of-date parking permit. (Even though my parking permit wasn't even up)

No, I went to talk to them right after, but the guy who was there was a dick.
