How to make a rootkit to redirect victim to a particular website

I want to make a virus which redirects victim to a particular website instead of facebook i know i can edit the hosts file but i dont have physical access to victims pc please help me

That's not a rootkit.

Is the target on the same network as you?
If yes, you can try DNS Spoofing.
If not, try to create a program that changes the hosts file, or just rat him/her and change it yourself...

This is totally not related to a root kit.

Just code a file that performs a redirect similar to cross-site request forgery. Depends what access you have on your victim
