E-Books or certificates for begginers.

Hello, what e-books or courses could you recommend to a young 13 guy (yes, we all were young) to learn something about breaking in to systems and coding exploits? I know Python 3.4 +-, a little bit of C++, even less of Visual Basic.
P.S. - Not all certificates are available to people of my age, but I know a few really are.
If I was on your place I wouldn't take any certificate since most of them aren't life time, so most of the will expire before you're able to work. In fact there are a lot of books which target people on your age. A few example will be listed below. Also stick with school don't leave it. When you search for job, without expirience the education will be one of the first things the HR(the person who is hireing you) will look at is your education. When somebody finish college(university) this is showing that they're serious and motivated to work.

Those topics aren't about cyber security, but without being able to understand a given system, you can't exploit it on your own. People who use tools written by other people, and can't write thier own tools are call skids.

Also you may take a look at this https://www.arduino.cc, this is really cool stuff.

Last but not least, I want to give you an advice. Don't spend all of your time infront of the computer, go and hang out with friends you have a lot of time to learn but you won't be able to be 13 again(nor 14,15,16,17...).

I definitely recommend Head First. They are really nice resources for programming.
Thank you for replies very much!
P.S. Nuclear, when you're rich you can be anything :D just kidding, yeah, thanks, I know that growing up sucks.

nostarch pythonforkids
csunplugged
headfirstlabs
nostarch javascriptforkids
nostarch kidsprogramming (took so much finding out arduino.cc did the error)

I read all the toms and I can say I already know all of this. I was about to learn Offensive Python but the e-book is old and written in Python 2.7. I already remember I read 2 books from No Starch Press, it was Hacking: Art of Exploitation (awesome) and Hacker Exposed: IDK how to translate :D
P.S. - yeah, Arduino rocks :P

Hacking the art of exploitation is defenetly a master piece. Since you had read such amazing book, if you were able to understand it you may be interested in completing some wargames

You've done really well kiddo. I'd say forget the certs until you're at least 18. Like Nuke said, they aren't lifetime, and their content is always changing. If you already know python rather well and are familiar with C++, I would suggest advancing your skills in the C family. Javascript is great for Web exploitation still, despite the patches, and since offensive python already has prepared you with the concepts of buffer overflows and taking advantage of memory leaks, you should be easily able to translate that to C programming.

IF you can honestly say your C++ skills are up to snuff, then you should be able to develop your skills with C rather rapidly. Combining C and assembly language can also make it very easy for you to develop powerful malicious code and vulnerability exploits. This all ties in with the skill of reverse engineering to discover new vulnerabilities and writing exploitation scripts which is highly profitable these days.

Depending on the path you decide to take in your career, you may also want to consider broadening your understanding of anonymity tools and cryptography, although the latter is very advanced stuff when it comes to developing new encryption algorithms. Anonymity and obfuscation is quickly becoming a commodity in the US with all the whistle-blowing that went down within the NSA.

I also highly recommend playing some war games as Nuclear mentioned. Hackthissite.org is another one that focuses on web exploitation. It's great practice, and it's perfectly legal.

I also offer up my book as a resource for you, although I'm sure you won't find anything new in it that you don't know, if you are being honest about your skills. It has a focus on penetration testing and the hacker methodology which you might find useful. I also name several resources you can also find for yourself there.

Good luck.

Yeah, I've been around a while
Thank you for your awesome replies! I always wanted to play wargames but I only found an abandoned domain before.
