looks like it doesn't wrap the hair..

over all it's a clean design .

I appreciate a good feedback/constructive criticism, but what you're saying doesn't make much sense to me.

First of all take a look at the shape of the hair, it obviously narrows around the headbands. Also, I don't know if you can see them or not, but there are shades and highlights.

Headbands on the other hand could of been done much better, but that's another story.

I like it tho, very clean. If you dropped out the background this would make a pretty cool Avatar.
Only thing i would ad is maybe a design on the shirt to eat up some of the negative space. Something simple and easy on the eyes so it doesnt take away from the overall image.

Such an inspirint piece of work, I really like alice and I defenitely like your version of it. I wouldn't change anything, really really good job mate. Keep up posting, would like to see more work from you as it's like I said very inspiring. :)

It's a really decent concept, but I'm just SO confused about the lighting. Where is it coming from?
Shadows are so confusing, and I think you should work on her body shadow if you want it to look like she's coming out of the mirror!

Shadows are not confusing. Imagine being in front of a mirror with a light right above it. Would the light not come down on your head and slowly go on your face and the visible part of your chest and shoulders? Even the mirror's frame implies that the light is coming from above and from nowhere else. The only shadows that might be misleading are the ones behind her shoulders and at the hairband.
A bit lowered at the shoulders and a lot thinner at the hairband.

You're right, most parts on the canvas indicate that the light is coming from the top, however certain other parts indicate that the might is probably coming from a lower position, either right in front of the skeleton or on the lower sides.

These 3 light sources that I've drawn are the ones that kinda ruin the piece for me. Other than that, it goes without saying that's a really nice try.

Yeah, you are right, I just noticed that recently.
Shading could have been done much better.
I'll probably work on that in next few days.
