Concerning heart rate episodes

Ok before I begin, I would like to say this: I used to have high cholesterol levels, but not anymore.
Well, last year, I went to a routine checkup with a physician and they said that I have a heart murmur (abnormal sound coming from my heart). I went to a heart doctor and they said that it was because of the shape of my chest and nothing to worry about.
I don’t know if any of these factors contribute to what’s happening now. For he past few months, I get random episodes of where I feel as if my heart skips a beat and then I feel a very hard beat in my chest. Unfortunately, it hotbed a lot worse yesterday. When I was laying down on my side, my heart started beating VERY FAST and then it stopped for a beat as beat very hard and kept up with for a minute or so until I sat up. I’m so worried honestly. This is definitely not normal and I want to know what condition I have. Does anyone know?
What's your BMI?/Are you Skinny? Anxiety can also do this, so if you're getting freaked out over your heart it's only going to beat harder lol

I have a heart murmur too, and have a friend that has one. They really are nothing to worry about. It's just an extra whooshing sound from what I understand.
Bro this shit happened to me yesterday at the gym, shit skipped a beat and i was like wtf, felt it today too..

I'm healthy, i train 5-6 times a week etc, first time happening..
Go get checked for WPW it runs in my family it will result in rapid heartbeat and then normalize randomly.

WPW can be cured often times, it is an extra electrical pathway in the heart.
If I'm not mistaken they're called ectopic beats. They can occur in pretty much anybody and they're quite harmless if they're not accompanied by additional symptoms like dizzines, difficulty to breath and stuff like that. They are very common with people suffering from anxiety.

I myself have a murmur which is from my tiny valve that's isn't closing properly. It's a condition called mitral valve prolapse and it's quite common. These ectopics can occur with that condition. I have them from time to time, but during periods of high stress I tend to have over 100 a day. It's really nothing to worry about especially if you have a structurally normal heart. Go get checked out.

Also there is doctor on youtube who specializes in that kind of heartbeats. His channel name is York cardiology. Go look him up. He has really good advice. Hope you feel better :)
Heart palpitations or however you spell that shit, usually anxiety or not enough sleep I get them a lot too but it gives me like an involuntary cough when I get it lol used to freak me out you'll prob be fine.

thanks m9

guess it wasn't much to worry about because I didn't sleep much that day and it hasn't happened since eyy
As most have said already, if a cardiologist (heart doctor) cleared you already, you're fine.

I suffer from familial hypercholestemia so I understand how you are linking cholesterol to heart issues instantly, that is not the case 99% of the times.

My .2 is that these are anxiety related. (Again, IF a cardiologist cleared you.)

Didn’t go the doctor but it hadn’t happened since so I think it was lack of sleep
