Hey everyone,
I'm a professional penetration tester like many people here and I'm lately getting into mobile application pentesting more and more. I'm thinking of taking a mobile application penetration test course and would like to get a feedback/recommendation/review from you guys.
I've searched far and wide for something like OSCP for mobile apps, and discovered eMAPT which should be the only hands on mobile app pentesting certification. From what I was able to gather, this is a pretty good course, lacking a bit only in iOS applications compared to what it offers on Android side. There is also GIAC GMOB, which is your standard SANS multiple choice answer certificate, but I'm generally leaning more towards an actual hands on approach.
Have any of you taken these courses? What is your opinion on them? Do you feel they prepared you for actual mobile app pentests in a satisfactory manner? Are there other courses worth looking into? Thanks!
