Hey, you should get an epilator if you plan to have a few months of dense cosplaying!!! I have used it for my legs and I had to do it a few times to get all the hairs, but it is nice in the long run than shaving. Just so you know what it is, it a bunch of tweezers on a rotating head. So it will pull the hairs out from the blub instead of cutting the shaft. Then, when it grows back in, it grows in soft! Three downsides are that it is a little painful in the instant until you get majority of the hair removed and learn to tolerate the feeling. Also, it doesn't leave you with the smooth shaved feel. You will want to put vitamin E or some calming cream on your legs after to call the brief period of agitation where the hairs were pulled. But it goes away and you can scrub and smoothe your legs the next day if needed. That was really only significant the first time though for me and I have very sensitive skin. Pros, the hairs will grow back smoothly (but cons, it will be slower than shaving so this is more of a commitment). And if anyone gives you problems, just say that you had to shave because you are swimming a lot, or that it's a side effect of a medicine you take and don't want to discuss it (patchy hair loss).

Recently fallen into the fandom of cosplay. Joined some local community groups and have gone to a couple meetups. Really enjoying it so far. Still trying to get used to wearing stockings though. My leg hairs makes it somewhat uncomfortable. May have to shave.
