So I'm trying to hack into every security camera in the doorman's computer in the lobby of my apartment building, he has like 20 different camera feeds on his computer screen, how can I go about doing this?

All I have is an iPad, but if you Absolutely need me to then I can go reactivate my android.

I'm pretty sure I'm in range of the lobby computer, but I'm not sure if it's internet connections show up in the Wi-fi scan, neither did I check.

If there is a way I can scan for every wireless-Wi-fi using camera in the area, I would like to know how to scan for it/them and gain access to them. Regardless of whether it's the lobby's security camera's or some random wireless camera in someone's apartment or in the area.

In the below explanation I'm assuming these are networked IP cameras rather than an actual closed circuit:

Normally the way these are setup is the cameras go back to a PoE switch which powers them and gets them on the network, there's also a DVR connected to the switch, the DVR records the video feed and also usually allows you to view and manage the cameras in a web browser. Your first step would be to connect to the same network as the DVR and do an IP scan so you can get the DVR's IP. Once you have its IP you can browse to it in a web browser which will give you some information (Such as the manufacturer), at this point you can check the default credentials for the DVR and try to log in with those or look for exploits for the DVR's firmware.

The problem you're going to have is if the person who set these up had any idea what they were doing the cameras and DVR will be on a separate VLAN or even a completely segregated network with no internet access.
