Makes sense, figured it would happen given how many videos he's made on Pokimane. When I was younger I used to watch him a lot but at this point it was pretty much harassment veiled as criticism, if you look at youtube's guidelines and actions in the past you probably could've seen this coming. Sucks that he was the first to go though, those annoying channels which are just carbon copies of him definitely deserve to go too.

His latest videos were completely fine, they barely even talked about pokimane, YouTube is just too PC, you can't enforce a harassment policy retroactively on a site as large as YouTube and still be giving strikes/terminating for it.

I agree that cancel culture is stupid and that taking things from years ago to use as ammunition is moronic, but those Pokimane videos are a couple weeks old at best so it's not like the theme of his content has ever changed. I think you should be allowed to say whatever you want on youtube with no repercussions, but there's a ToS and he's clearly broken it time after time both in the past and present so there's not much to defend him with. Just stupid for them to remove leafy and not the other channels which are just clones of his content.

The pokimane videos were 99% him talking abou tother things lol
also it's well known that youtube picks and chooses who they enforce their ToS too

if the same thing happened in the beauty community, nothing would happen. oh wait, it happened and yt did nothing lol

I mean, I don't watch Leafy but it kinda sucks he got banned without any warnings etc. There are channels like Jake Paul and jaystation out there, why aren't they banned? Their content is the worst.
