If someone came into your home and said it's too small and ugly, wouldn't you feel some type of way about that? I personally wouldn't invite those people back again. Being an adult yourself and a member since 2012, you would know it's much easier to PM Omni and request an account closure, rather than create a thread for attention. No offense, but without this thread being created, no one would have noticed if you were closed or not.

Absolutely, I have PM'ed him for an account closure. I have no need for attention.

I am explaining why I am leaving, which I am entitled to. People like Adam have posted a farewell message and it got deleted, again, because the owner cannot handle opinions held against him. It's much easier to delete the user and everything related to them, maintaining the illusion that dreamland never catches fire.

As far as you are aware there is no reason. If Omni was having a power trip and regrets his decision later, he's man enough to own up to it and make it right. He's allowed all kinds of actual scum back on HF in the hopes they might redeem themselves.

Most members "allowed" back in have actually paid their way back in.. They're not supposed to say anything but they run to discord and talk about it anyway.

In regards to this thread only hurting and not helping, what types of threads would help do you suppose? I feel these are the only threads being made nowadays simply because everyone is here now in fear of having an opinion that the admin doesn't like, and just like that, you're gone. Even if you respond to a question being asked to help this community grow again, and you respond in a professional manner with no malicious intent whatsoever, using statistics from other sites and how they increased their daily active users and thread counts etc,., you still end up getting banned in some way simply because he doesn't like your thoughts or your ideas, but not before being called a moron or some other term in all CAPS.

I mean all in all, this is supposed to be a community where everyone can talk and share freely but that's not what this community is anymore and I think that's what he is trying to say. Sure he could've just left but I can't blame him for being emotional about this decision. A lot of people have put a lot into being here and would love to help and see this community thrive again, but everyone is just getting closed or banned in the process because any suggestion or recommendation is taken as a personal attack.

There is only so much we can do as the community, and if you don't see what the rest of us are seeing then what do you see here?
