It depends on what you want. A recipe is simply a path you take to get to reach the destination: the taste. Every dish starts with ingredients and ends with what you taste. If you want the exact same taste each and every time, you follow the recipe. If you want to change it, then you improvise.

Same. I would get bored plus it's more economical to substitute for what already in your kitchen. But lately my cooking tastes not that great compared to Uber Eats. Uber Eats has spoiled me for my own cooking.
