Hello friends, I made a simple, no-fluff plan for students who want to learn cybersecurity the right way. I’m not talking about breaking into stuff — just practical, legal skills you can actually show on your CV.
Quick points:
If you want, I can drop an 8-week plan with daily tasks, or a small pack of safe CTF problems you can run on a private VM. Say which and I’ll paste it here or Will DM However you want me to do .

Quick points:
- Practice only on your own VMs or on authorized sites (TryHackMe, Hack The Box, OverTheWire, OWASP Juice Shop). Don’t touch anyone else’s systems.
- Start small: learn Linux basics, HTTP, and how the web works. Then read OWASP Top 10 so you know what problems look like.
- Do hands-on CTF challenges — they’re fun and teach useful thinking. Write short notes for each challenge: what you tried, what worked, and how to prevent it.
- Learn defensive stuff too: secure coding, logging, and how incidents are handled. Employers love that.
- Keep a portfolio of writeups (no exploit scripts against real sites) — that shows you learned, not just hacked.
