Hi,
Is there a way to find out if a MyBB theme is unique and designed for that forum or if it's a ripoff of another one? Basically, I'm paying someone to create a forum theme.

I might be able to check that out for you. If he's unable to create a theme hisself he most likely forgot to change some author lines in the code.

Other then that you could always search around.

Let me know by a PM if he's done and I'll check it out.

Well you may be able to do so by looking at it and seeing if it looks familiar. Also you could check the copyright. If not check your image folder name as some people forget to change it and it is usually named after the themes name, google the name and see if it is ripped.

yeah just search the index code etc. you'll see autor lines if he did't. in the themes code. he is probably jsut changing colors.

Just do a simple google search of the theme. If there is mass websites selling the theme then you know its most probable nulled.
