Name & profile link: Michael, and Breathless

Age:
18 years old.

How experienced are you with programming(1 being horrible, 10 being excellent):
8.
I'm currently majoring in Computer Science, I've been programming for 5 years and I am certified in Java, PHP, Computer Hardware Management and JavaScript from Kent State University.

How experienced are you with web development(1 being horrible, 10 being excellent):
6.
I've made several of my own websites, as well as a custom analytics API for displaying statistics of players from my plugins on a website such as kills, deaths, location, etc.

Favorite language and why:
I have two favorite languages, because they are both used for different contexts. Only a crazy person would be able to label one favorite language, when chances are that language can only be used in a few contexts.

For website development, I prefer to use PHP because of how easily I find making my code flow. I've never felt restricted with PHP and I can pump out line after line and see my results. I really enjoy how easy making dynamic items is with PHP, and that is why it is my favorite web dev language.

For desktop application development, I prefer to use Java because of its power of the computer, while still being relatively safe for use. I feel Java is one of the best OOP languages a person could know, and it was my first language so it has a special place in my heart. I know how to use over 20 Java APIs / Frameworks to a sufficient degree and I know the language like the back of my hand, even though I still learn new tricks every day.

Other than this, I sadly don't have anything else public, but that's the whole reason I want to get involved with a group. It will give me the motivation to post those kick-ass tutorials.

Why should you be accepted:
I honestly feel that I have what it takes to be a member of your group. I finally have time to be active on HackForums now that I've made it through the thick of the start of college, and my hours at work are stable. I love programming and I love helping users out. I can be silly and stupid sometimes, which I regret afterwards sometimes however I feel my quality shines over anything stupid I've posted. I've never had a scam report open against me, I've never scammed anybody and I've been a legitimate seller with vouches. I've ran large-population gaming servers that I've coded myself, and I feel I could be a valuable addition to your group. I'm working on several tutorials right now as we speak that will be released within two weeks and I am attempting to make them as high-quality as possible. This is just the start, and I hope I can continue to grow and experience HackForums as a member of the Brotherhood!
