Java or .Net

Also, I'd love to know how it is shitty, and what is better than it (and why).

Lol, lets see where you get this information!

All the following use Java\SCALA

Twitter: http://engineering.twitter.com/2011/04/t..._1656.html
Google Web ToolKit: https://developers.google.com/web-toolkit/

Sites that use ApacheHadoop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadoop):

In short:
Amazon,
Adobe,
eBay,
FaceBook,
Google,
Hulu,
IBM,
Last.FM ... Do I need to keep going? As I stated in another thread, get an education.
Ok Fizzix sorry I am going to have to report you because this is just harassment back and forth, and I don't like how you are just leading him on.

But this topic has really gone out of what the original poster asked for and that is which should I choose, not whether big companies use it. He wanted to know what the ups and downs were.

Sorry if this is just too much but really it's gone far enough, all I have done since I got on this website is try to give people advice and steer them in the right way, all you've done in my sight is bring endless arguments on people and then punish them for trying to fight back.

I love how you fail to read my first post in each and every topic... I give a solution/answer/correction then idiots like Colby_ try to undermine it with completely invalid arguments, so I defend them.

If I choose to lead people on, so they make even more mistakes in their next post, what does it matter to you? The OP will have a deeper understanding of the topic, and will learn why I said what I did. He will also know that isn't just some crap I made up, as someone is actually making me prove it.

Your idea of the right way is wrong (and I'm not just saying this to argue, as I'm in the process of proving it in the other thread), and if you can't handle being proven wrong, then don't try. In programming, giving people bad advice is much, much worse than not giving any advice at all.

Anyway, there have been several people like you, who try to change/suppress my 'tactics' and they fail every single time, because they can't even begin to understand how deliberate my actions are. In short, I don't just argue for fun, I argue to teach people and the fun is just a bonus.
