Erhm, sure, but why not go with a symbol that can easily be scaled down to fit next to a line of text. I bet it'd look pretty messed up like that.
High resolution is not always a good thing.

I think it would be better if you made the sybol take up a little more space inside the coin, and got rid of the 101010 background pattern.
And a final request: Please make it completely square (1:1 height/width).
