Hello there.
Me and my friend are looking into coding, thought this is a good place to look for help.
Firstly we want to know where to start of as beginners, what languages to learn etc.
As well we`re looking into coding Minecraft Mods, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
Patrick & Daniel.

Google is your friend. If you want to start with Java, then look up Oracle's official tutorials. If you'd prefer a physical book, use Head First Java. Do NOT just start with Minecraft Modding, you will get lost, frustrated, and quit. Start with a easy and simple project and work from there. Both Oracle and Head First Java have them.

This thread is so cute, not even lying lol...

First off, if you come into programming looking make MC mods, you'll be a shitty programmer. You need to first learn fundamentals of the language. Just patchworking in editing copy/pasted code is what many people do.

There are many tutorials on coding Java on tons of websites. I would recommend just getting an academic textbook and doing exercises in there.

I can personally help you with any SPECIFIC questions you have when making programs.

I wouldn't recommend Oracle's tutorials for a beginner, they're more geared towards people who already have experience coding. Tutorialpoint helped me out in the beginning.
