Hey I've always been thinking about this one but omni doesn't want any type of notifications i dont know if this would be considered one but here is my idea.

so there are the thread icons

I was wondering if maybe we could add a new one of these that would indicate if someone has quoted your post maybe something like this

Having his will help out when posting in big threads or just when people respond to you in general. What i do is post on threads and then pretty much read the entire thread from where i posted to every thread i posted on and sometimes im just waiting for a response and get no answer, in other words wasting my time. Theirs no need for an advanced notification system when you can just click "your posts" and look for the green thumbnail.

Naw but really, It doesn't seem to be too hard to do and would be nice to see quoted post.

That would look pretty ugly. Christmas colors shouldn't be there all around the year.

If it's hot and just faded that means it's hot but no new reply's right?
It doesn't show up blue if a new reply comes it just stays red for Hot.

eh i guess then maybe like bottom right a cloud. like where the lock img is for a locked thread but just replace the lock with like a cloud or like a comic speech bubble

This would be dope af, seeing as there is already built-in functionality / a system plugin to track quotes. With a few minor tweaks, it could work out well. Although, the time cost to beneficial output of this kind of project would probably be too much for Omniscient to want to do it - at least within the next five or ten years 😊

As for the issue about hot / quoted, it could just be green to show you that it's been newly quoted, a dark / lighter green to symbolize the difference between hot and not, or a diagonal cross of the green in one corner and the red in the other. Not too sure about the best solution for that.

That'd be good, for both the blue and red thread symbols. No need for the green, actually. (Though I kind of want it :P)
