Things you get when being a leader:
Ability to decide what a group does - What it focuses on for topic(s) such as gaming, SRPP, lounge, tutorial/guide makers, marketplace, etc.
Ability to add/kick from a group - Whoever, whenever, and however many you like.
Trust
NOT Responsibility - If you don't want to do anything you don't have to. You aren't required to help out or even visit the subforum.
Desired - People want to have the group userbar and be apart of the group. You CAN take advantage of that. For example, when my group was Titans we hosted events that required nice designs. If I didn't have a designer I would offer talented individuals a spot in the group for designs I needed/wanted.
Popular - Believe it or not but there are certain people on here you might not ever meet or talk to if you don't become a popular or important member of HF yourself. Nobody gives regular members the time of day, but if you're a leader of a group these people will be all around you. Even other group owners/leaders and some may just let you in their groups because you're now friends or acquaintances or share a similar position on HF. You'll most likely meet and get to know pretty much anyone who has larger roles in the HF community such as Marketers, Writers, Loungers, etc. Now you can just go and message these people and whatnot but if you're a group leader not only will some people just come to you, but they'll actually hang around and let you in their circle of people they trust and work with to make a profit.
