Probably has something to do with the number being greater than 1024.

Code /t xxx Set the time-out period before shutdown to xxx seconds.I can't think of any reason why you're having an issue with it other than something else aborting the shutdown command (shutdown -a). If I may, why do you have a shortcut to shutdown in 20 min?

Try
shutdown /s /t 999999 Then just do shutdown /a to abort the shutdown. You could also have a shutdown already in process, so do shutdown /a before you do the 1200. Did you cancel the 600 before you tried the 1200?
It appears with some testing, shutdown -s -t 600 gives a window popup but -t 1200 does not. It may be trying to give a taskbar balloon, but my machine isn't displaying it. Are you sure it's not working? Try running your script then issue another shutdown command. If the script worked, then you would get the message 'A system shutdown has already been scheduled.(1190)

This is what happens if you don't shutdown /a since the previous request (it wont show display it)

Same. I have a friend who pirated theirs, why not use KMS or something and get that shit gone? It looks so annoying.
maybe u have an app open that blocks it for some reason like its updating in background or u have an unsaved notepad session open or that type of thing, if somethings just blocking u from shutting down try
Code shutdown -f -s -t 1200and if your computer just gitches up on that number but u still wanna keep it all on one line of code this is how u can execute your 600 thing twice in a row with 1 line of code Code shutdown -s -t 600 & shutdown -s -t 600
I feel like the issue is there is no popup message with the time he is requesting. Over a certain number, the popup turns into a taskbar bubble. My computer, for some reason, doesn't want to show bubbles so it may be something similar. I feel like the OP has ghosted though so we'll never know.
